Todd and I have spent most of our lives keeping our children (Mikhayla and Cody)  and many other kids that came into our path involved in horses and rodeo. We feel that it is important to keep children and young adults involved in something and nurture them into better successful adults. Our children had a lot of support growing up in horses and rodeo and our family is very thankful for this. They learned  at a very young age that hard work comes with great rewards and winning is not the most important thing in life.

They have always helped younger kids and been supportive of them because it is in their heart.

Helping children learn values through the sport of rodeo is something we enjoy doing and feel like we have been called to do.

That brings us to our next adventure...Young Guns Junior Rodeo.

When we asked our kids, friends and family if they would help with a junior rodeo, of course we got a huge response and of course the answer was YESSS! Even after that, we were reluctant because of the expense of putting on a rodeo with the cost of stock, etc. Mikhayla already teaches lessons and shares our vision and calling to help the youth and so after a couple weeks she came to us and said let's do this!!

It was our prayer and through lots of support we have had a great first few years and continue to grow.

This Association  is founded upon Christian principles, and it is hoped that each individual member will exhibit characteristics in keeping with this foundation. It is our goal that the contestants will learn the sport of rodeo while making lifetime relationships and getting to know God in the process.
